Check out my new parkflyer VTOL Design. I must admit both the Atmopod and a Kite named the T.C. Ultra gave me some inspiration for the design.

Id love to have you guys rip this apart. I have it 60% bult should be done this weekend if I dont go fishing.

Scott

I test flew the main wing and it is very stable with lots of lift.
I intend on using the traditional 10x4 props and either the AXI or my current Cemech Marathon 400.

I have contemplated going with 2 motors and doing a double rudder one behind each motor. I like the ability to use the torque from 2 of the 4 motors to help increase Yaw/Roll control.
The main body minus Prop Gaurds are super simple to build so I look forward to experimenting.

You nailed it its a 4 rotor hely with flying pizza thingy integrated. No more or less.
So easy to build.

Should provide some interesting orientation related issues!

Yes indeed much like the Atmopod. I intend the final version to have a color scheme that will help with orientation.

UPDATE. I have found the electric motor/prop combo Im going to use.
I have test flown this as an airplane very briefly it flies!!!

I am waiting to get an onboard mixer to do what I need. Im am working with Joe Orlando of the TH-2 in hopes for a very elegant solution that will benefit us all with a universal mixer using his TH-2 board. Hope this turns out.
