Even wonder what to use to thin GOOP for:
a. making a hardshell for foam,
b. provide a thin water and fuel resistance shell
c colored protective layer for your foam job.
I found a product at a Toronto Homedepot called "Cira 1850 Super Degooper". Cost about $5 and it mainly consists of xylene.
I mixed 1:1 with GOOP to create a consistancy of maple syrup for my EPP HandLauch Glider, Alula.
Enjoy!
