I'm an airplane guy, could really use some help from the boat guys. I'm trying to sell a few boats from an auction (result of an estate sale, the poor gentleman died in his 50's and his family was enlisting support from knowledgeable people). I picked them up and have them at my house if you need pictures to help me out here.
The first is a 54" boat with Dumas printed in the actual fiberglass. It has a 22.5 cc motor in it, prop, rudder, etc., as well as two Futaba servos. No cracks in the fiberglass. Paint on the hull (white) is just fine, paint on the upper (metallic green) is a little faded in places. Motor runs too, I brought it home and got it fired up just fine (pull start). Decals include "Wellcraft" and "Scarab". I'm sure that's obvious stuff to you guys, but this ain't my area!
Second boat is a "Tradewinds" sailboat, hull is 36", mast is 48". Looks to be in really good shape. The keel has a crack in it, but doesn't appear to affect functionality or structure. Sails are in good shape, no rips. Has a functioning 2-channel surface radio in it (Tower).
What would these two items be worth?
Thanks for your help.
