Any Scarbourgh Ont builders out there?

I used to do business with a company called D & F Enterprises 105 Maybourne Ave Scarbourgh Ont. Their tel number was 416-751-7609. I found their catalog tonight and wondered if they were still in business. They use to vendor at the Toronto model show each year. Has anyone seen them or have any knowledge about them now?

I'm about an hour and a half down the highway from Scarbourgh,I checked the phone directory over the internet and could'nt find them.

I think it was a home run business Bob. The partners names were Phill Dewsnap and Bob Farrant. Would you have time to check the directory for either of these names?

I talked to Bob this morning and he confirmed that he and Phil dissolved the company a few years back. Too bad these guys were great to deal with and very friendly too. Now he suggest Loyalhanna Dockyard as a replacement company.

Yes, Phil D and Bob Ferrant helped host many of the Toronto shows, and certainly made the Saint John NB contingent of rowdy modelers feel welcome at their shows. I haven't heard from them in a few years, though another of the SJMMA guys, John Weeks has spoken to Bob by phone recently. They are always put on the invite list to our annual fall NB Museum model expo.
