I've had good luck building a foamie using the T.L.A.R. method. It was a constant chord wing with strip ailerons. I was wondering what the characteristics of a tapered aileron on the same wing would be? Thanks a lot, this forum rocks! I'm too old to surf anymore, and R.C. planes really gets the blood pumping!!

T.L.A.R. method of design risks wipe out. The old folks (and me too) at home are studying aerodynamcs and you too, maybe. ;)

Ollie,
I still work 5-6 days a week and do the bookkeeping and payroll for my wife's business. Maybe when I retire I can have the time to learn aerodynamics. My plate is full, so I go with tried and tested designs and building techniques. I looked at the profili, it looks like something I could use. THANKS!
