Hello, my name is Larry, and I've had this boat for a few years as of now, and it's just too much for me. I ran it three times in a pond, and I quickly figured out that it was too fast for what I had in mind. Even more, I am flying helicopters as of now, and I'm looking to upgrade to a new heli, so all my previous toys are being sold.
As for this boat, it has never been wrecked, flipped or submerged, nor has it been abused in any way. As I mentioned, it has only been ran three different times, and it ran beautifully every time. I don't have the time or equipment to run it, so it hasn't been fired in some time, but I see no reason why it wouldn't fire right up due to its lack of hours & garaged state. It has sat for some time, but the carb has been plugged, and when turned over by hand, the engine shows great compression, and it feels very smooth. Again, I see no reason why this motor won't fire; I don't have the means to run it myself, but please don't take this as some sort of cop out or scam.
As seen in the pictures is some damage to the cable pulls that attach to the motor - the cables that turn the motor left & right. One of the cables pulled away from the motor bracket due to stress, but this should be very easily fixed with a few parts from your local hobby shop. Aside from that, there are some aesthetic cracks to the paint beneath the fuel cell due to the nitro fuel, but these are superficial, and are not in any way related to the structure of the boat itself. The paint has held up very well, and aside from a few runs in the decals, the boat looks absolutely beautiful - so much so that it's a bit hard to sell.
Performance wise, I never pushed this boat hard due to the confines of where I was using it, but I was told that 50 m.p.h. is very possible. When I was running it, I was amazed by the way it would turn - as if on rails, even at a good clip of speed. With some open water, this boat would be an absolute blast, so if you're looking for something that will really thrill you, check this boat out.
What you see is what you get. I know there are shady sellers out there, and I know it's hard to buy something from pictures alone, but know that I'm being completely honest & fair in all that I know. I have over $600.00 invested in this boat, and I'm not looking to rip anyone off, so please know that my intentions are true. All sales are final, please, so be sure to take this in account with your desire for purchase. Thank you & God bless.
PS: If there is any extra information I can provide, feel free to PM me or leave a post below. Also, if there are any pictures that you would like to see, feel free to let me know, and I'll do all that I can to upload them. Also, the information on this post may change as I remember more things to list, so visit frequently for the most recent update. Thanks & God bless
