I have a walkera 4 and a 52.

can fly the 4 ok, but have yet to get any luck out of the 52, I just
need to spend some time setting it up right.

the 22E is a very good beginners heli and has heaps of parts available.
You just need to take your time with it

how is the walkera brand? It seems alot cheaper than century or twister or
even esky.

they seem to have a reputation for being built from cheap components.
The heli itself is ok, but the electronics let it down..or so I'm
told...I've had no glitches with mine at all so far.

actually general build quality looked pretty good. I notice that the parent
company is chinese. Not necessarily cheap cos of components but
manufacturer. Still things like servos, batteries, chargers, motors i could
probably buy stuff from more reputable companies that fit as when the
'cheap' parts fail.

looking at the walkera 4. single rotor not twin like my twister, but fixed
pitch 4channel like my twister. may be easier for me to cope with.
