There was another thread started that talks about a crack for Real Flight G-3, but it was closed. What are they talking about ?
Has anyone tried the FS One simulator yet, is it a good simulator ? I need to buy a Simulator and want the one the flys the best. Graphics are great eye candy, but I want the plane to fly realistic.

They have tried to emulate the RealFlight controller in software. It dosen't work well enough to be useable. Or so I've heard :)

BTW, who is Kurt, and why is he so much to be feared?

I believe Kurt is a guy from Reflex, who is known for his angry postings in responce to any copyright violation discussions. Though Kurt always has a valid point, but he often slides to excessively harsh tone, which is difficult to justify...
Reflex is known to pursue a legal route of protecting its copyright--they sued not only a maker of transmitter-to-computer interface, which broke their protection, but also all the people, who bought this interface.

P.S. Thanks for Ikarus/Reflex correction.

"Kurt Huebener" works for Reflex XTR (Ikarus makes AFPD) and can be found lurking in the RCU sim forum. He hangs out in their 24/7 but never posts anything, hes like a cop for Reflex its sort of funny actually. In fact he hasn't made a post since 12/22/2005, odd for a guy who lurks 24/7 don't you think?
Hes their right now :D

Was the transmitter to computer interface ONLY for reflex, or was it to make any transmitter work on the USB port. I do not like the cheap "transmitters" that come with the simulators, I would much rather just connect my own.
Who did Ikarus sue ??? How did they even find out they were being sold ?

There was a post in RCGroups (not sure if it was in Simulators or in some other group), in which some guy wrote that a year after he bought an interface from some German company, he was contacted by Reflex lawers, who demanded some hefty sum for not getting him to court. It turned out that Reflex had successfully sued the maker of "Reflex imitating" interfaces and had gotten a complete list of their customers...

Here's about a crack: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=521209 and here's about the Reflex action: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=494709 Both are an entertaining read to be sure.

You did not read my post very carefully. I have done some research on the net and found out what the crack is, but its not real. When I scan it my virus detector says its a Virus  I did not run it, and I will not. My computer is still alive and I am still here :)
Like I said in the post you misread, I think it is better to buy the game than to ruin my computer with running a virus.

Heres the LINK (http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t244105p1/) to the story, of course all of Kurt Huebeners posts were deleted from this thread and he was banned from the forum...

Dominique,
In a nutshell, Kurt used to police the forums for any post that touched on the subject of copyright, cracks for software, or people claiming to have "compatible" hardware interfaces. There was some heated discussions and some posters also had the feeling that he was infact Wolfgang from Reflex under an alias. The problem was that his arguments became personal attacks and always resulted in the moderators taking actions, resulting in his ID being banned from a lot of forums.
Reflex seem more intent on making it publically known that they will pursue anyone who is not selling their original products. I'm not sure if KnifeEdge or IPac also take legal action, but if they do they don't make it public.

Darn, I find it so entertaining to indulge in the rantings of a raving lunatic every once in a while... :D (But then again I think it's kinda fun to poke snapping turtles with a stick, too.)

Search for "KurtHübener"Thanks. Guess I'll have to try to stay on top of things just in case he resurfaces, and then take a "snapshot" of the page to get the best of his rantings. There were two posts in that thread no longer visible.

Why did you even bother downloading it? Hmm, let me guess.
Why did you even bother scanning it? Hmm, let me guess.
If it scanned clean what would you have done? Hmmm, let me guess.

You clearly accuse Dominique of running the crack in your previous post, when he clearly states he did not. You owe Dominique an apology and the rest of us a retraction. What you do instead is try to distract from your false statement by saying “let me guess what Dominique would do ?” Given your conduct just now, I would like to guess what you would do in many situations.
If you were any kind of man, you would face up to your mistake. Do your teach your Kids and Grandkids to try to hide and distract from their mistakes instead of facing them ? You are a fine example of what most of use try to raise our kids not to be.
