I now own and have been using the Reflex XTR Sim and am I impressed! This is a top notch program and works like a charm. I even like the RED BARS!
But here is what I bought this thing for.
I already know how to fly. I want to push the edge of my knowledge in the following areas without risking an expensive aircraft. As a flight instructor, I would also like to have some background in working with the unexpected.
1). Aircraft Setup Issues commonly seen in Maiden Flights.
2). Adverse weather - specifically crosswinds.
3). Heavy and/or Underpowered Aircraft
4). Dead Sticks
#'s 2, 3 and 4 are easily changed and it's really a piece of cake.
#1 is the problem. I'm looking for some commentary/opinions on how to 'mess' up aircaft just as you would see in a maiden flight.
Trims: Blindfold youself and change them on the transmitter, or have someone else do it. No problem there.
What about CG? What, exactly do I have to do to make it slightly tailheavy? I'm lost.
