record g3 flight and insert onto forum?

i have real flight g3 and i just discovered that i can record my flights. so, i was like, can i record a flight and save it as a file. well i tried and i think i may be doing something wrong, it doesn't play, its not a .mpeg etc kinda file. now ive seen people do this before but just don't know how.

anybody able to use the record feature on their real flight g3 and save it as a viable file say to be able to insert on the forums.

You need RFG3 to play back RFG3 .rec files.

You can convert the .rec to a .mpg by playing back the recording, and using some frame capture software like FRAPS.
