This is more a Extreme speed propeller plane then a Pylon racer but still that category doesīnt exist.

I donīt have any soft grass where I fly, only asphalt. Thatīs why I had to make a carbon fiber landing gear with F3D-wheels on.
A couple of weeks ago I flow the model at an another field where they do have grass with the right quality. When I was flying I got an interference and I thinked that i better put the model at the ground as soon as possibly. I did that but when I hit the ground the landing gear kind of get caught into the soft grass and it did brake off the model and a little peace of the wing did get broken too. I had to cut off some of the covering film so I could repair the wing and put the carbon fiber gear back.

I want the model to look like it did before that little accident and then I need some covering film.

Question nr. 1:

Is it Oracover or something else?

Question nr. 2:

Whitch item number does the film have?
It is the yellow color who is the most interresting, Oracover do have chess and carbon fiber look film, I have already seen it.

PS. I have tried to contact Weston UK but they donīt want to answear my emails that I have sent to them.

Most Magnums I ever met were RIP before tenth flight

Weston probably figure put resourses into selling department to sell you a new one with stastics like that :D

Any way it could do with a more distict color change on the under belly so you can know top from bottom as you do ten rolls per second

I also had magnum from weston and my was also RIP in third fly. I think that this plane is realy not made for sunday flying... but is good when you want to show friends how fast plane you have...

If I can give some advice...don't do loppings, they are deadly for this plane...

I dont want to jinx myself but I have about 35 flights on my magnum. I hate to admit it but thats probably way above my average life span of my models over the last 30 years. Flew it today and got a little more speed than last time by shortenign the header and dropping to a 8x9. Flew in a rather larger squal with winds approaching 35 mph. Great for those high speed down wind passes! I do kiss the ground after every flight. I think the key is a good pre-flight, keep flight times under 5 minutes, and smooth gentle elevator inputs. Also dont allow for any distractions and dont allow it to get too far away. Personally I dont always run full throttle the entire flight, it gives me a chance to try some slow flight and settle down between high speed runs.

Thought you guys might like this video. It's my mate flying his Magnum last Sunday. This plane has seen many flights - usually 2-3 flights every Sunday for the last couple of years. They're not for novices

Enjoy!
