Raptor or X-cell ?

I am about to buy my first gas heli,I have learned to fly with an elec. and am ready to step up. My problem is that most everybody says to get the tt raptor and I like it and have hovered one at the field but a very nice friend has a small collection of 30 size x-cell helis and wants to sell me one with the motor for $250.00. What would you guys do I can only buy one. RCKing:confused:

I understand the X-Cell .30s are pretty good. I don't see too many of them, but the ones I saw flew really well. Sounds like your friend is giving you a good deal. However, note that replacement parts will be less expensive and easier to find for the Raptor than the X-cell .30. Not that X-cell parts are hard to get, but there are fewer outlets that sell them.

Thanks for your answer. I talked with my friend at lingth and we booth decided that the raptor would be the way to go. I have purchased the raptor 50 and am in the process of building it now. RCKing:)
