Could I use this module for radio modem

Before my company using intermec 9181 for bar code tranmiting . Now we don't use that. Does anyone have any information concerning the Proxim RXA-300 spread spectrum radio module that is inside some Intermec RF 9181,9180 bar code reader equipment? Than i can using for my radio modem.
