For the Profili users, the designers of it, or for the designers of Xfoil:
I'v ordered profili 2 and I've tried to understand it. I've find out a lot but some things I can't understand.
Understanding the pression around an airfoil is going good. The graph of Cp too.
But what are the lines of Theta and Dstar? I thought it was the streamline of the air around the arfoil but why are there two of them? And the graphs of it?
Rt and H I don't understand but I think that I don't have to understand them.
I thought that I understood Ue and Cf but how can Cf go lower than 0?
In another window you can let make in a graph Cl to Cd, Cm to alpha, and Cl/Cd tot alpha. I think it is about the pressions around an airfoil but if Cd is the releasingcoëfficient I can't get it longer.
My question is: 'Is there someone who can give me a website or tell me something about the graphs in Profili of: Cl->Cd, Cm->alpha, Cl/Cd->alpha, Dstar, Theta and if you like it, Ue, Cf, Rt and H?
Maybe I'm asking too much but I've really tried to understand this things, sometimes that was going well, sometimes I thought that I got it but then some details were not correct, and sometimes I really didn't understand.
Is there someone who can help me?
Eric
