View Full Version : Esky Honey Bee - customs problem

My Esky Honey Bee cp2 3d 6ch is still stuck in customs.
I'm wondering if anybody who has bought one of these in the EU - or has successfully
imported one - could look in the box and see if they have a piece of paper called a
"Declaration of Conformity". This is the document where the manufacturer declares that
their product conforms to the applicable EU directives.
If so, I'd really like to get my hands on a copy - a scan would do.
Cheers,
John

This custom work by random you just got bad luck. others are flying happy
with imported stuff.
if you can show that the e-sky is sold by european shops it might get easyer
for you.
if you have a 72Mhz wich is illegal in EU you have give in the transmitter
and receiver.
On modelbouwforum.nl (Dutch ) there is a topic running of a traxxass revo
stuck in belgium customs hands.

Yesterday the package was cleared through customs and the postman delivered it at
lunchtime today.
We had some email and fax exchanges with helpful people at the factory in Shenzhen, and
they came up with the necessary documents. If anybody else has this problem, email me and
I'll send them the documents.
By 6 pm my son had the Honey Bee up and running, achieving short flights round the garden.
It's an impressive sight.
