DARTS Sanctioned NOS and RES contests 6/17-6/18

The DARTS are holding two one day contests this weekend; a Nostalgia contest Saturday and an RES contest on Sunday. Pilots meeting 9:30 each day.

DARTS fly seeded, Man on Man contests, and the RES event counts towards the Ohio's Cup Standings. Our field in great for wide open, flatland soaring - should be great events.

Had a great time flying the Nostalgia stuff with the Ohio and Indiana guys. Thanks to Don Harris and Brent for a very nice event and I'll be back for more next year. Joe Albridge and I have made a pack (all are welcome to join in) to build our Sky Bench Gulf Coaster kits and have a one of a kind duel with Don. He has been flying his scratched Gulf Coaster for several years.

Next year, Wood Crafters 07 will add the Nostalgia class and modify the cut off date to include the Sagitta 900.

Thanks, Ray and all the travelers that made the NOS event!

I've been window shopping all day for a new NOS / Woody ship, and I may join you in that challenge - either that or your Pierce 970, really like the Sloboda designs.

The idea of merging Nostalgia and Woody events seems like a good idea - maybe next year we'll be able to make a weekend out of just those. Might be a good opportunity to put of a Horten III I've had on the board without a clear event.
