Can you reccomend a place to stay in or near New Waverly, Texas?

A couple of us guys from Austin are toying with the ideal of coming over.

Would the field be open for flying on Friday before the event?

There is a Best Western in Willis, just 10 miles away. I don't have the number.

If we know someone is coming to fly, we will accommodate them on Friday. Maybe good for us to practice with Al's winch. There may be some powered fliers around but we can work out something.

The Best Western in Willis is probably the closest. There are several hotels/motels in Huntsville also about 15 miles away. New Waverly is just a small community with a few stores. The flying field is in top condition and we have very nice facilities. Looking forward to getting together with folks as we are very friendly over in these parts!
