Hi, I am newbie, both to this forum and helicopters.

1. can't get my eco 8 off the ground I am running a stock rc/car motor (big jim racing), novak esc, 6 channel jr propo heli radio, 6cell sanyo 1200 mhz, running mechanical mixer and everything else is stock.

2. can someone tell me where to plug the pitch servo on the receiver cause i plugged all the other servos according to the labels of the instruction booklet. It had everything labeled on the receiver except "pitch" so i currently plugged it into the "gear" input with only a switch to control it. It was either that or the other two aux1 and aux2 inputs. Could this be the cause of it being grounded? Is the pitch supposed to be controlled by a stick or a simple switch?

please help!!!!

by the way nice board

[you need to have a minimum of 8 cells and somewhere around 2000mah (not mhz) You may also want to look into your motors running specs]

[pitch (collective) is when the blades move at a differant angle to give either more or less thrust upwards or down. You do not control this with a switch. Your throttle stick will be controlling it, plug the collective servo into the aux1 slot. It really helps if you have a heli radio]

If you're using the Eco's mechinical mixer, your pitch and throttle should be connected together with a Y cable and connected to your throttle channel.
