Hello All,, so this is what im woundering.. i have a rctoys wireless video system and and im trying to make a stand alone system....
the wireless video rx takes a 12v 300ma power source (Off the ac adaptor output plug) i am wanting to use a 11.1v lipo bat witha 31 to 50A output..... sooo the battery puts out a lot more amps so im worried about frying the wireless rx.. will i fry it ??

Your 3S lipo battery should power your video system ok.
A lot more amps from your battery means your system will work for days or weeks, instead of hours.

Take great care to not discharge your battery below 9 volts (3 volts per cell)

Amps = Volts / Resistance.

When a battery specifies amps (31 to 50A in your case) they are talking about the max the battery can deliver, not how much current it will actually deliver. The amount in a given application is determined purely by the voltage and resistance. 12v car battery, 12v lipo, 12v from poxy little AAA batteries: all the same current into an rx receiver like that, because its resistance is fairly high. 11.1v isn't guaranteed to operate it, but I'd hazard you'll be fine.

do you think since the lipo will peak charge to 12.23 it should be fine ??
