UK source for hand winch & tow hooks...

Hi,

I'm trying to put together a traditional flat field hand launch rig for a spot of sport flying and practice, but I can't seem to find a UK source for a traditional grinder style hand winch. Can anyone recommend a UK source of handwinch? I'm also after suitable parachuates and steel tow hooks?

I found some links on the BARCS website to Norwegian/Italian handwinches but thought there should be something in the UK?

I got mine (graupner) from gliders in nottigham. (gliders.co.uk). They are a graupner importer so could probably order if not in stock (assuming they are still made.

Other than that you could try asking on Bracs website, some people may be willing to sell theirs if they are not using them any more.

I haven't been able to find the Gliders web site or links to it for a while, are they still trading? I tried ordering one of the Graupner winches a while ago, but apprarently they are no longer made. :mad:
