hello,
im sure this is an age old question, but my battery will not charge. i put the electronics in a new plane and it flew fine, battery died completly(esc/rx cut it off) so i poped it on the charger. the green light went on but it only stayed on for about 5seconds then shutoff, it does this everytime i plug it in. i tried another aero ace tx and i changed my batteries. anybody have any ideas?
PS: i spent about 15minutes searching for an answer on here so dont yell at me for reposting an old post :( .
thank you -_-jake

and old answere for an old question :D did you check the TX batteries? most of the time when people have problems with charging, it usually turns out to be the TX batteries. try some new double A's and it should charge up like new.

You can't use rechargables. They won't charge the battery!

Rechargeable batteries is all i have ever used in my tx, & have never had any problems at all with charging or flight length :)

There could be a bad connection on the charging socket. sometimes I have to plug mine in and out a couple of times to get the green light to stay on.
I only ever use rechargabe batteries in my tx - they need to be topped up before you go flying because they don't have the same capacity as the non rechargable cells.

Check the battery voltage. I left mine on and flattened the battery. When I checked it was on 0.47v. I tried to put in power using a slow charger. That didn't work. I tried using short bursts of a fast charger and still no change. It stayed at around 0.5v. Now I need to replace it, but been unable to get one in the uk. It costs more than the AA to buy one from abroad so I guess I'm up for a new plane.
