I am the proud new owner of a Falcon 880. :) The sailplane has been recovered and refurbished. Looks very nice. This will be my first full house unlimited class sailplane. I will install new servos and radio gear and will engage the help of other experienced pilots for the first flight and help intrimming it out. However, I do not know the CG location because I have no instruction manual for the Falcon 880.
Is there anyone who knows the CG location for this Sailplane and the best control surface set-up for first flight? Any other suggestions in flying this sailplane would be appreciated.

Thanks Allanp for the info. Did you own a Falcon 880? Were these set-ups used for first flight or after tweeking things?
Do any other owners of the Falcon 880 have suggestions of CG?

I owned an Airtronics version of the 880(well used),after a year or so it started to delaminate so I put it away. When I started bagging this spring my first project was glass 880 wings.
Set the CG at 40% of root cord, fly it, then adjust it for your flying style, everyone likes them set up differently, there is no magic number.
