I was wondering if anyone could measure the resistance in your radio from ground to the Tx antenna. I get 1.5 ohms. That doesn't sound right to my uneducated self, but wanted to confirm with others.

It's OK. I got 1.1 ohms in DC.
It's bit different to higher frequencies. I think.

It's normal. It's due to the L210 self...coil.

Thank you, that makes sense to me, I think...
The inductor acts like a resistor at Rf frequencies, right? And the cap filters out any residual frequencies besides what is transmitted, like a cap on a stereo tweeter filter out the low signals. And the cap/inductor values are choosen to keep the circuit balanced or in tune to the load the antenna presents. I am a newbe for electronics and just ordered some ARRL books, the ARRL handbook and the ARRL antenna book but they haven't come in yet. Any teaching is appreciated! Thanks,
