I have an old calcomp 5536 TechJet plotter that is no longer working. It gives a head cleaning station error when you start it up.
The plotter has at least 4 step motors in it, along with a 36" long belt driven print head assembly. The power supply is in good shape. It might make a great starting point for A home built CNC machine.
First $50 takes it. The plotter is located in Tehachapi, CA, about 20 miles west of Mojave.
