Aero Ace Jet- Where?

The little orange fighter-jet shaped thing in the aero ace (>aeroace<?) commercial. It appears to use aero ace gear with props mounted mid-body like the Ikarus Su-27.

Some in California claim to have them, some in Europe claim to have them, lots of people seem to want them.

If you find one for sale outside Europe/California or (especially) online, say where!

(Tried ebay today, no dice.)

I bought the only one on the shelf at a Toys R Us in Indianapolis two days ago. It was $20 with the 33% sale, same as the biplanes.

My wife works at the local Walmart and says they got a large shipment in. What's odd is never pays attention to my hobby. She saw the boxes and thought they were neat. Good thing we get a family discount (grin).

The Toys R Us in Miamisburg, Ohio (South of Dayton) has them. Jet flies really well right out of the box.

the ones without pics are the jets, or TRU/WALMART/TARGET has them, hard to find tho.

DAN, how much was the jet? Because I saw your post and went to the Target here in Eau Claire and it was $40. They had 2 but I bought one, they also had 2 bi planes in the new box and one old bi plane. They were all out of the combo deal which I was also after.
-For anyone else, if one motor stops about 2 seconds before the other, is there something I can do to fix it or should I take it back?

I found one at Target today and it was marked at $23. Picked it up as it was the only one.

thing about the jet is that it glides forever

I actually prefer the Bipe because it falls like a rock if you cut the throttle

the gliding ability of the jet can be problematic if it is thermal-ing toward the trees...

the throttle needs to be on in order to steer it

and if you're trying to come upwind against a breeze it'll just keep going higher

sometimes you just want to steer the damn thing not keep it aloft and climbing

too bad you can't activate one motor or the other for steering without both of them humming away...

They just hit stores in in Colorado Springs. Got mine at Target, rumors of them at Walmart as well.

Just saw the new Canard Wing AA Jet at Target for 29.99. Looks promising.

the aa jet is so cool and you can take the gear from it and make a plane from 3mm dpron and it flies good:)
