For those in the central U.S.A that want to give seeded man-on-man soaring a try, June 16-18 is your chance. The Missippippi Valley Soaring Association is hosting the third OVSS contest of the season at their sod farm field in the northwest corner of the St. Louis metroplex. Friday, they are holding an informal hand launch event and then open flying after that. The 17 and 18 are the contest days on one of the nicest fields in the U.S.A., the grass is usually about the length of the Masters fairway grass.
