I am running FMS version 8.5. Of the planes that came with it only the Transall will work. The others have no throttle response and so will not fly. I have downloaded several other planes. Those that specifically said that they were for FMS version 8 work fine, but those that didn't say version 8 have the same problem, no throttle response. Has anyone else experienced this before? I have tried changing the throttle to another channel stick, but that didn't work either. Does anyone know how to fix this?

TIA,

Bill

Never mind. All I had to do was move the throttle trim up a little when initializing the plane. I'll leave this post up in case anyone else runs into this problem.

For anyone else curious about this little FMS PAR file information, Any of the 2.8 models that have COMBUSTION in their PAR file listing will have this behaivior. It's like setting your trims for shutting off a glow engine, the virtual model acts accordingly, with low throttle trim with throttle stick down, your engine should die.
