XP sees the controller, Realflight G2 does not. Have a computer with no game port. I got the usb adapter from Radio Shack. The computer will see my controller. Installed the latest version of G2/update to version 2.00.7xx. When I start my sim and it tells me it is installing my controller may take 45 seconds or so, I get the error message tellimg me it can't find it. My control panel in the computer shows the usb adaptor there. Can any one tell me how to fix this?
Thanks, Bil

I'm not familiar with the version numbers, but if you have the interlink version of G2 as opposed to the older non-interlink version, it will only accept a G2 interlink adapter cable. It's like a hardware "key" that discourages copying the software. All versions of G3 are like that now, BTW. I understand they ditched the disc protections in favor of this. See the table at Mile High Wings:http://www.milehighwings.com/sim_compatibility.htm

Tweener - The Club Prez told me to check to be sure the "controller-type" in the G2 was correct. It wasn't. End of problem. Only took 10 seconds. And 4 days of everything else. Thanks, Bil
