average shipping times ???

Ordered a heli from hobby lobby, 2 weeks now and waiting it was sent usps air mail. Just wondered what the average time most people wait is, seems to take along time considering I have sent parcels to the uk normal post/airmail and they have been there in 3 DAYS

I have a theory... That the time for a package to arrive is inversely proportional to the distance it was ordered from.

I have found that there is no real pattern to shipping times. I have ordered packages from Hong Kong and to my suprise, they arrive three days later. And I have also ordered stuff out of the U.S. and waited three weeks for them to arrive.

I have a friend who works at customs, he has told me that packages that come through the mail are hit and miss as to how long they sit in the customs pile. SOme they just push throught he same minute, some get searched and sent through, and some just go in the when we get around to it pile. Can be up to four or five weeks.

There were some others, me included, that experienced slow shipments from HL.

The common denominator was the small shipping box and a return address in Malmo Sweden!
My package took over a month. Since then I have been very reluctant to order anything more from HL.
Too bad, they were a pretty good vendor.

It depends on what postal service they're using.. Check the shipping company website.
