I am helping an interested person get into RC,he was going to go the AMA- 40 size -trainer- route that the LHS is still pushing. He's now opting for electric after seeing our local bunch fly.
I have an old G2 RF (gameport) TX that I got back from a now competent flier.
The problem is, the latest guy only has a USB port, I called the local Radio Shack and they no longer carry adapters and ones that are compatible for XP are rare. Any help in getting him up and running FMS as a basic trainer sim would help.
( I'd love to donate my many hundreds of $ worth of real flight stuff to him but I'm not ready to jump through that many freaking hoops! AFPD all the way for me!)
Any help on a source of a cheap Gameport to USB adapter for XPpro would be apreciated! Alex
