**NEW** AquaCraft U-18 Miss Vegas Hydroplane

The ready-to-run model the U-18 Miss Vegas is a big winner in ease, performance, handling and convenience. Other nitro hydros are priced similarly, but they can’t match the high-end advantages and extreme user friendliness that the U-18 Miss Vegas offers. Anyone from entry-level to expert will enjoy tearing across the water with this sleek and powerful racer.

The painted fiberglass hull looks vibrant and sharp right out of the box, and a flip-top lid on the fuel tank does away with the need for a pump. A filter is built in, the flex drive strut assembly lets modelers control prop height and angle, and a preassembled, cushioned display stand is included that also doubles as a carry-all.

The U-18 Miss Vegas benefits from the extra power and displacement of a water-cooled, .18-size inboard — made by O.S. — that comes with a header, tuned pipe and recoil starter. The Dunlap-designed hull makes room for flotation, reinforcing formers and a generously sized center section for easy maintenance and adjustments.

A boat this fast and powerful needs a turn fin, rudder and strut assembly that are extra durable. The rudder and strut assembly are made of lightweight, molded aluminum. The adjustable turn fin is stainless steel. Not only is the strut assembly factory-installed, it’s fully adjustable as well. By moving the assembly up, down or angling it slightly, modelers can fine-tune handling for different water conditions.
