model memory won't reset? optic 6

I am trying to reset model memory and when I get to the "REST" screen and hit the + and - buttons simultaneously, one beep happens then nothing. I tried holding the buttons down and it still does not reset the memory.

You should get a double beep, but be aware that the model name will not reset; just the settings.
