Hi Guys in Europe.

Just a note to remind you about www.coolcomponents.co.uk.

We sell a whole range of products that could be of use to the UAV builder, but most interesting is the US GlobalSat EM406 GPS Unit.

It has a built in patch antenna, 20 channels working at an amazing -159dBm sensitivity, and is only 30mm square weighing a feather light 15 grammes.

It also has a built-in 'supercap' battery which means much faster time to first fix when powered up.

Come give us a try

The script controlled phone and camera look pretty useful too

Yes I guess. Theoretically could allow your UAV to send data back from hundreds of miles away!

We're about to start selling a GPRS cellular unit with built in SiRF star GPS. Again it's script driven.

Is that a combination of the GM862 GPRS and EM-406 you are selling?

Nope, it's an all in one box GPRS and GPS unit.

It's not for sale just yet, we're receiving stock in the next couple of days.

No...nothing like that...

Like this

http://www.coolcomponents.co.uk/index.php?page=1&product=GM862-QUAD-PYT

but with a fully fledged 20 channel -159dB sensitivity SiRF star GPS receiver inside the same 44mm square, 21gram package.

(actually might be a little more than 21g!!!)
