Hello -- I recently puchased a MAS48-OH ESC. I was able to successfully program it with the ProgBox (i.e. it beeped after i made each setting). However I cannot for the life of me get the dang thing to initialize. I have a Hitec Eclipse 7 radio. On my old ESC (CC45) i had to crank up with lower endpoint on the throttle to 125% to get it to initialize. I've tried the same thing on the MAS48, but no luck. Any ideas?
Help!

Kyle,
Are you using a seperate battery pack for your reciever? The CC45 has a built in BEC and the MAS 48-O-Heli does not, there for you will need to use a reciever battery pack in order to get power to the reciever.

Hi Kyna ... No, I am not using a separate battery pack for the rx... i have a UBEC installed. I used the UBEC with the CC45 also (the onboard BEC on the CC45 is really bad). All worked fine under that setup. I have both the MAS48 and the UBEC tied into a single power plug to a 4s3p LiPo. There is no switch to turn them on independently. I'm assuming that's not a problem. Any other thoughts???

Kyle,
I apologize for not getting back to you sooner, I have been out of the office to attend a trade show.
Are you getting any tones on intial power up? If not, please re-check all your connections to make sure there are none loose.
If all connections are good, then you may have just received a bad esc. This is rare but as with all electronics it can happen. Please fill out our repair form, which you can get from our website, and return it with your esc.
