I did a 4 minute Noon Time Demo with the CHP TUNNEL VISION and the HACKER BRUSHLESS A60-16m in San Diego last weekend at their Electri-Fest. I got some TP 4300 mah LiPo's from Chip Hyde.... I ran the 22 x 10 APC "E" Prop. (Not recommended by Hacker!!) ..I measured a peak 77 amps. (Packs were at 70 degrees for this measurement).... This pack brought the weight down by 10 ounces.
WOWIE WOWIE WOW-WOW!!!!
It is prob'ly a 7 to 8 minute capacity LiPo pack, ... but the reduced weight really makes her fly sweet!!! All tha batteries fit inside the wing root area....
The A60-16M performed wonderfully!!!
This 4 minute "Free-Style'esque" flight used 1500 mah capacity.... roughly 1/3 of the pack!!!
Chip Flew his Scandalous Bipe with a C50 FAI Motor, and team flew the Double Tunnel Vision with Dual C50's. Awesome job.
This power system so far is really working nicely... but... TOO QUIET!!!!
If anyone is even flying a geeared foamy... you just can not hear your own plane!!! Maybe I need to rig up a Playing Card and a Clothes Pin!?!?!?!
