As most of us know, a diode is installed in most if not all of the transmitters preventing the use of cyclers. A friend of mine mentioned he has seen in someones add, he thought Cirrus, showing the different TX's and where to add a jumper wire to by-pass it. If anyone has seen it and can direct me to this info, I would appreciate it.

Sorry, can't help with that but it shouldn't be too hard to spot that diode and solder a bypass across it.

TX bateries are much better charged slowly, at 1/10C for 12-16 hours, without need of deltapeak detection. Selfdischarge seems to be much lower with the same pack.
However, in case You want or need to charge them fast, remove them from TX to allow cooling, and prevent TX destruction. Then connect charger directly to pack using modified RX charge wire.
FYI, I know the only Jamara XPeak3 charger that is not sensitive to protection diode, it charges well thru it.
To answer exactly what You are asking for - the diode is mostly near charge connector, on same pcb, so You have to add jumper directly parallel to diode. I recommend using fuse instead of jumper, for example small 2,5A glass one.

About that nesty diode in that TX, it is very easy to modified it so you can cycle your TX battery also checking the voltage directicly from the plug. Just identify that diode and solder a 2-3 Amp. fuse right across it. In this way you have a direct pacht to the battery and at the same time a protection just in case of some short. I did this to many TX in my club's fellows. ALDO
