SC-2 Contest

The second SC-2 contest of our 33rd year will be hosted by EDSF and is scheduled for SWSA's Fish Canyon field on Sunday, May 21, 2006.

Certified AMA Contest Director
Mark has scheduled a 3 round thermal duration contest with 3 flights of 8 minutes each. (Total flight time will be 24 minutes.)
Short tape landings will be used. Details will be announced at the contest.
Maximum scoring will be 950 points for flight times and 50 points for landings.
Mark reserves the right to change the landing types, flight times and number of rounds to meet the conditions prevailing at the time of the contest.

-Entry fee is $10.00 per Class
-Pilots meeting is at 9:00 A.M.
-Contest begins at 9:15 A.M.
-A three round thermal duration contest.
-Three flights of 8 minutes each for a total of 24 minutes.
-Scoring will be 950 and 50.
-Maximum possible flight points will be 2850.
-Maximum possible landing points will be 150.
-Maximum possible contest points will be 3000.
-The launch lines will be about 460 feet
from the winch to the turnaround.
About the same distance as at SWSA's
prior field at the Las Palmas School.
-There are no facilities on the field. See
the following pages for alternatives.
-Trophies will be awarded to the first
three places in each of the four Classes
