Hi Gang,
I'm a complete newbie when it comes to flying r/c helicopters. I recently purchased a Walkera r/c 22e helicopter. I resisted the urge to start the thing up and downloaded/installed FMS to put in some practise time. Numerous people have told me that its hard to fly r/c helicopters but had no idea how hard it really was. My FMS experience basically consists of taking off then immediatly losing control and crashing. Thank god this is a simulator. This hobby would get quite expensive. Before spending the countless hours practising, I would like to know the best way to configure the controls. What should I use as the rudder control, elevator control, aileron control, etc...? How configurable are the controls? Will the helicopter only accept certain configurations? Any ideas or suggestions? BTW, Im right-handed.
