Grundig Radio/CDROM Motor

Took apart the wind up Grundig radio and found a very nice 12 pole stator 22mm cdrom motor with 3 wires coming off it. Anyone tried using these yet?

WaterDog,

Do you intend to remove the motor from the radio? I have one, gave two others as gifts. They all work fine. Does yours have a problem? You're better off getting discarded CD-ROM drives from a computer repair shop.
