Water-cooling the electric motor in your fast-electric R/C boat has many advantages. It will allow you to run more cells (safely) which, in turn, means that your boat will be FASTER! It will also increase your motor's efficiency, which relates to a SLIGHTLY LONGER run-time. A third reason is that it will increase your motor's useful life.
I have water-cooling kits (in stock & ready to ship ) to fit any 540 / 600 / 700 sized electric motor. These coils are wound from 36" x 5/32" O.D. aluminum tubing for maximum heat transfer, and include the adjustable water pick-up, mounting bracket w/ screws, 30" of flexible tubing, and 6 nylon tie-wraps to keep all hose connections secure. The "twin" sets include two of everything listed above plus, the coils are wound as a "left" and "right" for easier and neater looking installations.
Prices are $10 / kit ($20 / twin) plus postage. I will happily custom-wind a coil to fit ANY motor, and at absolutely no extra charge!
