REVO

[Inferno FS]

I'm thinking about buying a REVO from TRAXXAS and I was wondering if
this is a good choise.

I' d love some opinions and or tips??

The Revo is a good all-around racer and basher. What do you intend to do
with it? What types of terrain do you plan to run on?

I have one for a few weeks now and just think it's great for general
"driving around". I'm not a racer, I just like driving around and some
jumping in the gravel pits. it goes like crazy.
the engine can be a little touchy to tune, but I'm still in the break in
phase (less then 10 tanks). every time I run it, it gets better. I did hit a
curb straight on at a pretty good clip and did NO damage! I was happy, parts
are pretty cheap anyway and it seems that everyone carries Traxxas stuff.

Yup fine choice for a newbie. Engine can be a bit of a bint to tune, but
aside from that, good choice. Tough, quick, totally RTR. Have fun :-)

Is there any one of you guys living in Belgium, cause I am.

I' ve been doing some websearching and I can't seem to find a good
store. ( store in Belgium that sells REVO )
Is it possible that there is hardly now rc-shop to find, or that I'm
doing something wrong when searching with Google.

That's a difficult one but all I can recommend is try http://www.google.be.
If you have done your research well enough and your 100% sure that you want
a Revo then why not buy via either eBay or a online store.

If all else fails why not drop Traxxas an email and ask them where you can
buy the Revo in Belgium.

If you are having this much trouble finding a local hobby shop that sells
the Revo, then you might think more about what your buying as you dont want
a MT that your going to break and then have to wait a week or two for parts
to arrive.

Also: a follow up

After the 5 tank break-in, put in a new glowplug. I did and what a
difference. tank 7 was a pure joy. I started the engine and it ran till "I"
stopped it - not when it would decide to quit.
also don't over "lean" this engine. it seems to like being a little rich -
but don't we all!
