In the Hacker web there is no info on the max Amps of that motor, prop range...
When I sent E-mail to Hacker, I recieved back mail that this E-mail doesn't exict!
Can you tell me please, what is the folding prop range for this motor?? max amps?
Thanks,
Eitan

Dear Eitan,

You can find the max amps of all of our motors on our website at http://www.hackerbrushless.com/drivesystem.shtml. I do not recommend using larger than a 10" folding prop on a B20. The actual prop size would depend on your application.

Question: Why is max current the same for e.g. B20-18L and B20-12L?

I would have expected that the 12L could take 50% more current than the 18L?

Thanks,
Jesper

Dear Jesper,

The current limits are standards based on the actual size and mass of the motor. A B20-12L would run a smaller prop at higher speed and a B20-18L will run a larger prop at slower speeds. The reason for this is some models require a high speed propellor and others require a high thrust propellor system.

B20-12L for high speed pattern/warbird and a B20-18L for 3D hovering/slow speed aerobatics.

OK, thanks.

I was thinking that I might be able to run the 12L on 2S instead of the 18L on 3S LiPos, with the same prop.

Best regards,
Jesper

Hacker published all the specs in their lastest catalog.

Thank you sir! That makes sense, and it looks like the 12L would work fine with 2S LiPos and a folding prop.

Jesper
