I have a hacker c40-12s in a Mec gearbox ate 6:1 (I believe). Can this motor be run on 4 cells without damage? How would I need to prop and gear it to do this? I would like to put it in an electric fleet bipe I will be building with a 4.5# weight. Thanks in advance.

Dear Skypup,
We do not recommend running the C40-12T (s) on more than 3S Lipo's. Please see our Motor Power Ratings Chart for statistics on all our motors http://www.hackerbrushless.com/drivesystem.shtml.
Depending on what type of flying you plan on doing (sport, aerobatic, 3D) that motor would work well with a 4:1 gear reduction on a APCE 14X7 or APCE 15X8 prop. Please let me know if we can be of further assistance.
