Hi
I have Master 40-B Heli controller. I use it now for an airplane model. Can I cancel the soft start of this controller ?
Thanks

Ido,
The soft start (actually, SLOW start for the heli esc) function on the Hacker Master Heli series controllers is a permanant feature that can not be changed. We offer several different 40 amp controllers for airplane applications, including our new X-40 Pro with usb programming capabilities. Please see our web site www.hackerbrushless.com.

However, there is a work around that may work for you.
Run it up to full and bump the throttle trim up enough that the motor does not shutoff with the stick all the way down. In the air with the prop ticking over at low throttle you'll get instant response when you whack in full throttle.

I was always curious if the throttle trim means anything
with electric motor.
I will try your advise
thanks
