Freya V Raptor

Have had an awesome run with my 4 year old R60V2..
But now am looking for a 90..
Any good reason why I shouldn't go for a R90?
Change for change sake, what's the Freya Evo90 Like V Raptor 90?

They're both fine machines. I had a Freya X-Spec that I was learning 3D on.
I was really happy with it in a 3D mode. Didn't care for it in really fast
forward flight compared to my X-Cells. I've not flown the Freya Evo head so
I can't comment on what differences it may display in flight qualities. My
only experience with Raptors are the 30's and 50's and they've all been
pretty good once we got everything lined out. I've seen lot's of Raptor
90's around and they appear to fly as well as anything out there, and they
seem to be as reliable as just about anything out there too.

Personally, I'd think that since you had such a good run with your R60, the
R90 would be a no brainer, unless you just have the itch to try something
different. The only other thing I can think of to swing you one way or the
other is which model is easier to get parts for in your part of the world?
Beyond that, I don't think you can go seriously wrong with either one of
them.

Stick with what you have
if your 60 works great stick with it
maybe get a second 60 so you alway have 1 ready to fly

fuel cost increase as well as blades when going to a 90
weight goes up and why do all that if you setup your 60 right
you wont see a difference.

use to money to put graphite in your machine and keep flying
depending on your radio you might look to upgrade it instead of the heli itself

Years back I put out the money for a Futaba 9zhps when they first came out
best money I spent on a radio. Never need another one. and being Synth on the
reciever and the radio I always have options at the field

Amen to that! I love my 9Zhps. Never have to wait on frequency pins at fun

Kinda makes sense really..
Think I'll upgrade the servo's etc to faster units than the current 9202,s
and go have some fun..
Is there any advantage in the 70SZ v's 61 WC .
The old 61 sxhwc is getting long in the tooth, but still powers on..
