Can someone tell me how the switches on the helicopter version of the 9303 differ from those on the Airplane/sailplane versions. I've heard that the heli version is the best but am not sure why. I need a momentary switch on the top left, towards the back side of the radio for launch preset on my DLGs, and it must be assignable. ANy help would be appreciated.

On the airplane/glider version, there is a momentary push-button switch on the left-top side. It is on the top face of the radio, closest to the pilot. I don't know about the Heli version. The only difference between the airplane/glider version is the switch labels. Programming for all 3 is identical.

The 9303 has "limited" switch assignability. Check the manual to make sure you can assign it to what you want, or be prepared to do a little soldering. :D The manuals are available for download at Horizon.
