Can anyone help me with a link for trainer cables for my JR-378.
I know thatJR to JR is just a straight through 3.5mm mono plug, but I would
also like to have:
JR to Futaba
JR to DSC (direct servo connect) to receiver.
Many thanks in advance.

OK, I'm betting within 12 hours of this posting, Alan's Hobbies will
post their usual "Hey, come look at all these links" response :)

Won't happen. Different systems and they're not compatible.

Entirely possible as they're in the JR range. 3.5jack to Rx plug.

Found the link I was looking for. This one says it is possible.

I'm going to send him an email and see if he has actually used it.
Rob.

I am currently instructing a guy who bnought the Horizon Hobbies P-51
"trainer" set up. The set came with a buddy box cord, but not a buddy box
xmtr. This P-51 trainer outfit comes with JR equipment installed, including
a low end JR xmtr (can't remember which model no.). The provided buddy box
cord on one end has just a JR plug, and on the other end is split with both
the JR plug and a Futaba 5-pin DIN connector. This cord must be available
separately from Horizon.

Someone else needs to chime in about the JR DSC; I'm a Futaba guy.
