WE had our first float of the year, here's a few pics.
the boat that intrests me the most is the SEA WOLF. Ollie the man that built her worked this boat in WWII as a deck hand, and has more knolage of running a tug than a member that works for FOSS tugs out of Seattel, whom by the way is always picking his brain for info. on the subject, she is a buttie in my book, there were 7 boats that show up for the float, one never got wet, he foregot to charge his batteries, but all in all it was a fun day.

Great photos of your "first float". The Victory tug looks great on the water. Did you solve the "top heavy" problem?

The wight problem:
Yes thanks for asking, I meltted down some lead pored it into a long 1/2"x3/4" strip, cut it to fit in the very bottom of the boat and then laid 4 ot. buck shot over it, as you can see in the above pic, the stern needs to come down and the bow needs to come up, I just need to push some of the shot around a bit to get it right and then I will seal it in so it don't move.
