Now that I feel Clearview is the best RC Sim out there, it is important for it to get more customers.
Many customers, especially in my part of the world, is still reluctant to order via internet. Too many stories of missing items and problems with customs and post offices, as well as credit card fraud.
A reseller in this part of the world is the best but I believe even in the USA it is also important because there should be many users who are not so well versed with the internet and online ordering. That is why off the shelf games are very popular and can sell well.
The reseller can help promote Clearview by dispalying it on the shelves and offering CDs that can be used to install it on PCs.
At the moment, acivating Clearview requries internet access because of the way the security is set up but this is a small price to pay for enhanced security. It may limit the customer base but nowadays it is very rare for people who can afford to dwell in RC hobby, not to have internet access.
Whether a reseller wants to sell Clearview at their store shelves will depend on their profit margin.
In my case, I'm not so much interested in getting profitable but in offering a complete range of RC products for my potential customers.
Of course I'm unique, because we are not in this business to make tons of money. In fact we are losing money at the moment before the RC hobby in Sabah takes off. Competition from internet suppliers is also severe.
Store front RC suppliers should concentrate more on mass market products and for beginners. Clearview is clearly an ideal product. I can sell it as though it is a video game alternative.
