Hiya. I suppose ya get what ya pay for! I bought a cheap 6 channel FM transmitter. It worked very well....for a while. Now I can't get 100 feet away from the plane and it's twitch city! I think the RF analogue output driver is flaky. Problem is I have no idea what it is. There is provision on the circuit board for TO20 style transistor(Like a LM7805 case) but they used a SMT device on the other side of the board. It says RF 32. Anyone got a clue what it is!! Or what should be there to handle the current better???
Thanks for any insight fellow!!

Just thought I'd pass along this info in case anyoyone else finds themselves with the same problem.
The Colco CLC 6 channel radio is a PIC based radio with a driver transistor that has RF 32 printed on it.
This is a surface mount NPN transistor called 2SC3357. A high frequency, low noice device from the good folks at NEC. I found an NPN output transistor in an old radio called 2SC2314. More current capable, so I popped in in. Turned on the power and watched for smoke...... none. It works just fine.
FYI that transistor is replaceable with a BFQ19 or BFQ97, from what I've googled.
